We went in for brunch and we all enjoyed the lunch menu. The setting is everything you expect in Williamston -- cozy with a mom and pop feel. The food was excellent, starting with the tomato bisque. I had the Cuban sandwich and it hit just right with their own house twist on it with their bread choice. I'll be back!

I wish I could leave 10 stars! The food, service, and environment are unmatched. You can tell the food is made with love and care, honestly the best breakfast I have ever had. The flavors of the jams and hollandaise sauce were delicious. THE TOAST, the toast is better than words can describe. Highly suggest stopping in, I wish I lived closer I would be there daily!

Stopped in for the first time today and this place exceeded my expectations. Cute little dining area with some vintage vibes. Although it felt a little pricey while browsing the menu, the food was amazing and you could tell that things were made from scratch, with love. This made the price worth it. I ordered the eggs benedict (seems popular based on other reviews) and it really did not disappoint.. probably the best Ive ever had. I will definitely be making a return. 🤤

If you’re looking for a place with incredible food and a chef who truly cares about his customers, this is it. You can tell right away that the chef has years of experience and real passion behind every dish. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The California Eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious, but the salmon Eggs Benedict was phenomenal — easily one of the best brunch dishes I’ve had. The balance of flavors was perfect, and every bite tasted high quality and thoughtfully prepared. What really makes this place stand out though is the hometown atmosphere and the way the chef genuinely cares about his patrons. You feel welcomed and appreciated from the moment you walk in. Fantastic food, great service, and an experience that keeps you wanting to come back.

That New Place is right up there with best breakfast/brunch I've ever had. Specials are tasty and menu stand-bys are top notch. I've visited with a somewhat picky eater (teen) and friends that are open to all sorts of flavors. The food is gorgeous and it tastes even better. Wait staff and owners are attentive and pleasant. The kitschy decor is an added plus. That New Place has found the right balance of high end food, very reasonable prices, and small town diner charm. Do not miss the homemade focaccia and jam - literally the best bread I've had in my entire life. *photos taken from 3 separate visits

This place is hands down my favorite restaurant of all time!! I cannot stop talking about it! The staff is very friendly and attentive, the owners check in and really try to know their customer and also always help their staff! They are very quirky and it definitely adds to the charm! They change the menu frequently and I cannot express how absolutely delicious everything was! They make unique everything!! Flavors you would never think work together are made in a way that will absolutely blow your mind! Im tired of every other breakfast place having the same exact items of every other breakfast place. These guys break the mold in the very best way possible. Unique food items, unique pastries, and unique drinks!! Items are a bit pricey but honestly id pay double for everything that I had! I seriously wish I could give it more stars and delete every poor review because they are just dead wrong. The mason jars as water glasses makes my heart happy and the mixed china gives it a nostalgic, homemade feel. Id eat here everyday if i didnt live an hour and a half away! Please never go out of buisness, my heart will completly break!!! *I had a lobster quiche (seriously blew my mind and i never thought lettuce and a dressing could taste soooo good with it) and got a pumpkin swirl cheesecake and my husband got a smoked salmon eggs Benedict (this was alsoo sooo good and i had a good portion of his meal too 🤣) and chocolate orange dream bar(not shown we ate it too quick lol)

This is a small place with a lot to offer! Despite its size, we were seated right away. It did not feel crowded, but small enough that the chef brings out each dish to the table. The rest of the staff is also very friendly and attentive. The food and the coffee (which is good for me) were amazing, and we didn’t even get to the huge variety of coffees and goodies to go! We will definitely need a return visit!

The food was from another planet! I ordered French toast and they were so delicious, nothing I have ever had before. My husband ordered Succotash and all the vegetables were well seasoned, the whole plate was a masterpiece. The service was very attentive, the owner came to our table and talked to us about the food and ingredients. I will definitely come back here.

I’ve been meaning to get over here to check out “That New Place” for a while now. I’m a big fan of the family who owns and runs this place, and have been admiring the photos of the food on FB for the past few years. We took time on our spring break to make it over to downtown Williamston to check it out. Right off the bat, when you walk in, the ambiance is cool, arty, and welcoming. The “gallery wall” decor is full of original art made by real local artists, and not store-bought reproductions. I LOVE that. The whimsical salt and pepper shakers add character and warmth to the tables. The menu is well-rounded with meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. The flavor profiles are elevated beyond the typical breakfast place, but not in a way that is intimidating. For instance, I enjoyed the hammy sandwich with a rosemary cream-cheese spread. It was so good. The bread was whole-grain and toasted, being fluffy with the right amount of crunch. The coffee was full of flavor (not too watery and roasted to perfection). My tip: save room for the pastries. The carrot cheesecake was maybe the best I’ve ever had. I took half my sandwich with me just so I could enjoy the bakery. The baked goods are not to be missed!

We went on a Sunday late morning had a lil wait but we chose to sit at the bar so sat as soon as we were greeted. Every one of the workers were very polite and talked to us. Got recommendations from employees, customers paying and as well as the owners. Lots of variety of pastries and desserts. A sign with everyone's favorite. We got the monitor chicken sandwich. Which you need to eat with fork and knife. Also the special strawberry yogurt 🥞 pancakes. So delicious and moist. I actually ate all 3 (hard for me to do.) They came with fresh delicious strawberries in and on top. Strawberry and a yogurt sauce on top. To go we got a white chocolate chip cashew cookie and a rhubarb and red pear gulette(sp?) AMAZING PLACE WILL BE BACK to try a quiche and/ or egg Benedict.
